'Cliffe Offers Course In College Instruction

Radcliffe will begin offering an extra curricular course in the problems and methods of college teaching for Harvard and Radcliffe graduate students Monday.

Raphael Demos, Alford Professor of Natural Religion, Moral Philosophy, and Civil Poetry, will start the fourth year of courses with the first of the fourteen lectures.

Meetings of the course have been scheduled for Monday nights in Longfellow Hall. Other lectures throughout the course include Helen Mand Cam, Dorris Zemurray Stone Radcliffe Professor of History; Phillipe E. LeCorbeiller, Professor of General Education; Kenneth P. Kempton, '12, lecturer on English; Neilson C. Hannay' Fletcher G. Watson, assistant professor of Education and Seymour E. Harris, '20, Professor of Economics.

"A Handbook for College Teachers," edited by Dean Cronkhite, has been designed to prepare students for situations they will meet "on the other side of the lecture platform" and has been based on lectured given by various speakers during the past two years of the course.

Applications for entrance into the course may still be registered at the Graduate Office in Fay House at Radcliffe. The tuition is ten dollars, and a certificate will be awarded upon completion of the course.
