Grad Club Looted During Vacation

Over $600 worth of furnishings and equipment, including a new $250 Motorola television set, was stolen from the Graduate Student Club at 18 Appian Way during the Christmas vacation, William G. McLoughlin 3G, director-treasurer of the Club, disclosed last night.

The theft took place in the period from December 22 to December 28 while the club was closed for the holidays. Other missing items are an $80 Victor radio-phonograph, an antique clock valued at $70, and 40 albums of classical records, carefully selected from the Club's 110 album collection.

Different night-watchmen check the building every evening, McLoughlin said, so the loss was not discovered until steward Peter H. Igarashi grDv returned last Wednesday. There were no signs of breakage and entry.
