After a three week lay-off, the freshman basketball team goes across the river tomorrow night aiming for its fourth win in five starts. Northeastern's unpredictable freshman five will provide the opposition at 6:30 p.m. in the YMCA gymnasium on Huntington Avenue.
The Northeastern freshmen dropped a low scoring overtime game to the University of Massachusetts, 35 to 38, then went on the scoring spree against Boston University, losing in overtime, 73 to 76. Four days later, the Huskies returned to their low scoring play, beating MIT, 44 to 31.
The Yardlings, who have yet to score under 50 points, were more consistent against the same opposition, beating BU 56 to 48 and MIT 65 to 59.
Coach Floyd Wilson plans to use the same starting lineup tomorrow night the he sent against MIT before vacation.
