Arthur H. Dean, partner in the law firm of Sullivan and Cromwell, will deliver the annual Dickinson Lectures on Accounting at the Business School this spring.

Dean, a native of Ithaca, New York, has written numerous articles on legal aspects of business, and is general counsel for industrial, public utility, investment, and banking corporations. He received his A.B. in 1921, and his LL.B. in 1923, both from Cornell University.

The Arthur Lowes Dickinson Fund was established at the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration in 1929 by the firm of Price, Waterhouse and Company to provide for an annual lecture by an authority in the accounting field.

Corporation Director

Among the corporations which he serves as director and trustee are the American Metal Co. Ltd.; Solvay American Corporation; Cornell Aeronautical Laboratory; Cornell University; Association for the Aid of Crippled Children; State University of New York, and the North Country Community Hospital.

He is the author of the "Securities Act of 1933 as Amended," "An Inquiry into the Nature of Business Income Under Present Price Levils," "Law and Contemporary Problems," "A Review of the Law of Corporate Reorganizations," and other articles.
