Tricked by TV Trials Here, Muntz Huntz Better Risks

Mad man Muntz never had it so bad. It seems that his Boston television outfit can't peddle a solitary set in the University, and that it has conducted over 35 free trials in the Yard and Houses without unloading a single tube.

Muntz, who turns crimson every time he hears the word Harvard, has now clamped down on the clamoring students. The Boston bureau has been instructed not to submit to demonstrations at the University without first extracting a verbal guarantee of fair play over the telephone.

A downtown spokesman last night confessed that he would like to crack the Harvard market. He confessed, however, that a flurry of profitless calls during the world series had broken his back. "You guys don't give us a fair chance," he wailed.
