Radcliffe Operation Halves Commuters

One-half of the Radcliffe students in the Greater Boston area will be able to live at College next year, Mary Small '40, newly appointed Dean of Residence, announced yesterday.

With the completion of Moors Hall, the area from which students have previously been asked to commute will be reduced and all seniors regardless of their hometowns may live in the dorms.

Under the new policy, sophomores and juniors other than residents of Arlington, Belmont, Boston, Brighton, Brookline, Cambridge, Dorchester, Somerville, and Watertown may live at College.

Residents of these communities may, however, apply for available rooms at the beginning of 1950's second term.
