The varsity golfers have two unusual advantages, but neither of them will be much good when the team meets Dartmouth at the Dedham Country Club at 1:30 p.m. today.
For one thing, the Crimson has been on a four-match Southern trip, and was able to work in a week of extra practice. This was a major factor in its recent victory ever Clark, but Dartmouth has also spent Eastern vacation in Dixie. The Green won a match and lost a match to Georgetown, which boat Harvard 5 to 2.

Harvard's other advantage is its course. The Dedham Country Club is short and easy, but half of its holes are tough for people who have never played them before. The second and eighteenth, for example, are at the top of high hills, and a man at the bottom can't judge the shape of the green.
This often proves an advantage in home matches. But last Thursday, two days before the game, Dartmouth's whole team spent the day practicing the Deham course.
The varsity team will include Bill Rickenbacker, Herb Mee, Bob Matson, Dick O'Keefe, Jack Denton, Sam Seager, and Crawford Hubbell.
