Woolley Opens in HDC Play At Rindge Tech Hall Tonight

Its final rehearsal safely tucked away, the Harvard Dramatic Club will unveil "The Man Who Came to Dinner" in Rindge Tech Theater at 8:30 p.m. tonight. The play, which features Monty Woolley, will run until Saturday, April 23.

Robert E. Seaver '50, a director of the production, announced last night that ticket sales have been gratifying, but added that there are still many good seats available for all performances except the one this Saturday night.

Only One Set

Monty Woolley and his beard have been rehearsing with the HDC since Thursday. The other male members of the cast are all Harvard students, while the feminine roles are mostly filled by Radcliffe and Emerson girls.

The one stage set which suffices for the whole play was designed by Ralph A. Fletcher, Jr. '50. It was set up Monday on the Rindge Tech stage, which Seaver described as "too wide and not deep enough." He asserted that acoustics would present no problem in the modern, 1500-seat theater.
