Henry D. Aiken, associate professor of Philosophy, and I. Bernard Cohen, assistant professor of General Education, discussed the topic of "Scientific Humanism" in a forum sponsored by the Student Association of the Natural and Social Sciences last night.
Professor Aiken, in the opening address, suggested that the scientific method be applied to man's search for happiness. Professor Cohen replied that the methods and material need by scientists are far too unreliable to base our goals upon.
