Wrestlers Finish Work for Eli Test

The varsity wrestling team would up preparations yesterday for its final dual match of the season. Coach Butch Jordan's charges entrain for New Haven tomorrow at 9 a.m.

Not many of Jordan's tutees have been gazing at the warning on the ceiling of the Blockhouse wrestling room ("If you can read this, you're loafing") this week as the Crimson made final preparations for the Bulldogs.

Houston has been working with Tudor Gardiner and John Harkness, former Crimson, wrestling greats. Harkness, national 175-pound champ in 1938, is perhaps the best wrestler Harvard has turned out in the last decade.

Middleweight Switches

There will be two changes in Jordan's middleweight offense. Stan Thompson stopped Tom Connors on Tuesday and will compete at 165. Connors, who wrestled at 155 against Princeton last Saturday, gives way to Rod Skinner this week.

Yale has won two and lost five this season and has fared the same as Harvard against mutual opponents, beating Columbia and Dartmouth, while losing to Princeton and Army in addition to Lehigh, Penn, and Navy.
