The informal Harvard polo team ended the indoor season on a glorious note of triumph Saturday night in New Haven's riding academy, as they galloped from behind in the fourth and final chukker to defeat the Yale J.V. squad, 12 to 10. The poloists had to score five goals in the last minutes to pull out their upset win.
Emil van Peborgh was high scorer for the Crimson, gaining five goals, three of them in the fierce fourth chukker, and Dusty Howland scored three times. Yale's win Wickwire was high scorer for the game with six tallies.
Behind 8 to 7 at the beginning of the final period and 10 to 7 a few minutes later, the team suddenly took fire and on a series or brilliantly executed plays, Van Peborgh Howland, and Sandy Calhoun put together five goals to win.
