Undefeated Yard Cagers Battle BC At Garden Today

With victories over Tufts and Boston University behind him Floyd Wilson sends his freshman basketball team onto the Boston Garden court at 4:30 p.m. this afternoon to meet Boston College for a game which may provide the first real test for the Yardlings.

The Eagles stirred up some noise in the Boston press by beating Rhode Island State freshman 58 to 56. They have more height than Boston University and might do a better shooting job over the Yardling's man-to-man defense.

No Polish

But the freshmen, while not yet polished are a high scoring outfit, and the Eaglets will have to come up with a lot more fight and better team play than Tufts or BU if they expect to snap the Yardlings' modest win streak.

Wilson may not be able to use the same starting team which faced the Terriers. Right guard Ed Judson, a clever passer and accurate foul shooter, has a sprained ankle and Forest Hansen may start in his place.
