Squash Team Will Oppose Agawam, MIT Squad Today

After returning from a weekend which completely changed the complexion of its record, the varsity squash team will try to stretch its string of consecutive wins to five today when it plays single matches with the Agawam Hunt Club and MIT.

Unit Friday, with only Metropolitan League matches behind it, Coach Barnaby's squad had been unable to win. However, the trip to the northland may have been the turning point for the team, for it achieved decisive wins over Dartmouth, McGill, and the Montreal Squash and Badminton Club.

Strength in top positions has been the key to the sudden Crimson surge. Captain Foster, Hugh Nawn, and Jim Bacon have been able to handle their spots with case, despite the fact that they have been moved into these positions because of injuries. The success of Bacon is especially encouraging to Coach Barnaby, as he has made a successfull one-year jump to the varsity from the freshmen.
