President James B. Conant of Harvard was among a group of educators who today appealed for more school buildings and higher salaries for teachers. Also present in the group was Dwight D. Eisenhower, President of Columbia University.
These recommendations were made by the Educational Policies Commission, set up by the National Education Association and the American Association of School Administrators. This commission is devoted to long-range policies for American education.
