CHIEF BENDER
Varsity football tackle Ralph "Chief" Bender will be graduated in June, thus cutting short his Harvard gridiron career, it was announced yesterday.
Bender originally expected to be graduated in 1951, but he has been taking an accelerated program, and hence this fall was his last in Harvard Stadium.
