PBH Gives Holiday Baskets; Dining Halls Ready Turkeys

Six thousand pounds of turkey win forsake their barnyard homes tomorrow for a place on the various University dining hall tables. Dining Halls Manager William A. Heaman announced yesterday.

The turkeys will not be called on to handle the task alone; 2600 pounds of squash, 135 boxes of celery, and 13,724 apples and oranges will go into a dinner which only 25 per cent of the University residents are expected to enjoy.

The menus in the dining halls will not vary much. Hot mince ple or squash ple will be a choice given to everyone, and New England Plum Pudding will be served in all Houses with sweet and hard sauce. However, if you want outon you'd better go to Adams, for the other dining halls are serving vegetables soup.

However, as Heaman put is, a high cost meal gets a low cost meal." at the Houses will serve asserted cold meals for supper tomorrow.
