Germany Safe, Friedrich Says

The soviet Union has "no chance" 'to capture Germany if our government "plays its cards right," Carl J. Friedrich, Professor of Government and former advisor to General Clay in Germany, declared last night. He spoke before a dinner of Associated Harvard clubs of New England held at the Boston club.

The German people, more anti-dictatorial than pro-democratic, will stick with us, he said if we maintain a positive policy in Germany. He called for rigid enforcement of disarmament and indefinite continuation of our occupation.
