A. W. Moors Gives College $100,000

One hundred thousand dollars for students of Latin or ancient Greek was bequeathed to the College in the will of the late Arthur W. Moors '80, who died January 8, Suffolk County Probate Court disclosed yesterday. Five thousand dollars will go to the Harvard Musical Association.

Twenty-five percent of the residue of his $2,000,000 estate after personal bequests will go to the College's permanent fund, according to the will which Moors drew up last February. The Second National Bank of Boston will act as trustee.

Moors was the brother of John F. Moors '83, who donated Mary Buckminster Moors Hall to Radcliffe last year in memory of their mother.
