Vitamins Key to A's, Says Doctor

Short of dragging a mechanical thinking machine into the exam room, science has not yet succeeded in developing anything for students who loom on the edge of academic abyss during exam period. But a Dr. William Brady of Chicago claims he has an answer to the perennial problem. The men at 15 Holyoke st. say he doesn't.

Dr. Brady's miracle formula is: One month before examinations begin taking two grains of quinine sulfate in pill tablet, or capsule form, night and morning after meals. Continue doing so through exam period. At the same time take a Vitamin B-1 pill daily.

Dosed with this combination, Dr. Brady says, the jittery student will sail through an examination in fine style.

Doctors in the Hygiene Building fail to see how either drug could be effective. Vitamins don't stimulate and all quinine does is relieve cramps, they say.
