Maryland, Navy Crush Out-Classed Stickmen

Navy power and Maryland precision ruled the fields below the bison-Dixon line last week and left a Harvard lacrosse squad smarting under 13-3 and 11-0 defeats. A contest with Drexel at Philadelphia, the one the Crimson seemed most likely to win, was cancelled because of wet grounds.

Tuesday afternoon Maryland's Terrapins and the Cantaba battled through an exciting first half, with the College Pointers sporting a three guest bulge at the half; in the second stanza they really piled it on, sinking seven more counters. Saturday afternoon was Navy day.
