Crimson Key Activities May Begin May 15

The Crimson Key may well try out the wings of its recently-granted constitution on May 15, when crews from ten colleges meet in Cambridge for the Eastern Intercollegiate Sprint Regatta.

Meeting in Phillips Brooks House last night, the 37-man executive committee gave athletic chairman Robert Claflin '50 the green light on planning orientation and entertainment for the visiting crews.

Whether or not May 15 will mark the first time visiting athletes have been met by anyone but Harvard managers is now up to Claflin. He promises action if enough Key associates can be chosen in time to form a cohesive working unit.

This group, operating in conjunction with a more experienced M.I.T. Key outfit, would meet and arrange entertainment for visiting crews from Princeton, Columbia, Syracuse, Pennsylvania, Navy, and Rutgers.

The executive group also entertained preliminary reports from the chairmen of the non-athletic, Freshman, Membership, and Assignment committees.
