22 Yardling lacrosse players set out for Deerfield last Saturday morning and 20 returned in the same bus that evening. The other two were helped home in battered condition, after the battle in which Deerfield trampled the team 8 to 2.
A Coles to Gilbert pass netted one score for the Crimson and Rick Hudner scored the other unassisted. Coles and Hudner were the game captains.
