Golfers Lead B.C. as Wind Stops Match

High winds, bitter cold, and impending darkness put an anti-climactical end to yesterday's golf match against Boston College with the Crimson team leading slightly at the end of nine holes.

The contest won't be entirely forgotten, though. Captain Sam Savidge has announced the team will play the remainder Wednesday afternoon.

Bill Rickenbacker, number one man on the team, was only a hole behind Dick Kinchella when the deepening gloom cut the match short at 6:30 o'clock. Kinchella was last year's New England Intercollegiate champion.

With a three hold advantage under his belt at the close of the nine holes, Line Kinnicutt hold the biggest lead of all the Crimson players. Ozzie Keiver pulled up with a two hole advantage, Captain Savidge was all even, and Bob Mattson had dropped a hole at the close of the day's shivering activities.
