Radcliffe's basketball sextette took a sound 32 to 17 drubbing at Penn broke yesterday, but the 'Cliffe swimming teams splashed to decisive victories in the Providence pool to salvage the sports day.
High 'Cliffe scorer was Captain Camklein, who sank two 'baskets and totalled three points on foul shots.
Annex varsity swimmers, headed by Ann Clark, downed the Pembroke mermaids 62 to 31 and the jayvees won over the Pembroke Juniors, 33 to 27.
The court defeat was the second of the season for the 'Cliffe.
