WBZ-TV Aids Ivy Film Video Study

WBZ-TV yesterday invited Ivy Films to send the members of its television department to the tower behind the stadium to have the techniques of television demonstrated to them.

Ivy Films is planning to enlarge its television department. One production has already been given: In October Hugh K. Foster '49, who heads the department, showed a movie which he took on an expedition to the Antarctic with Admiral Byrd and commented on it.

Charles A. Yoder '49, Ivy Films president, last night attributed the station's interest in his organization largely to the success of this production. He declared that television movies will be an important part of the film industry, and he doesn't want Ivy Films to be left behind.

The society has nearly finished its new movies, "Touch of the Times."
