Radcliffe seniors embarrassed the junior class 31 to 5 in Annex basketball intramurals Monday afternoon, while the sophomores wobbled to a 9 to 7 victory over the freshmen. The sophomore and the forty were will take it out in the play off at 5 p.m. today in the Cliffe gymnasium.
Except for a short five-point spurt by game was a clear walk away for the seniors. High scorer for the class of '49 was Nancy Woodman, who popped in 12 of the 21 points. Marion Marshall added seven more to the final score.
Laura Wilson's successful one-handed push shot from a few feet short of the half court line brought cheers from the spectators and temporarily put the juniors back in the game, but the enthusiasm was short-lived. The senior's lead continually increased.
In the second game, the Class of '51 finally managed to squeeze by the Freshmen by one goal in a low scoring, close-all-the-way contest.
