Radcliffe Had A Busy Week . . .

Radcliffe's answer to Smith's "Smiffenpoofs"--the "Cliffe-Riffs"--will face the footlights for the first time on Friday, December 3 when the Annex's 70th Anniversary Fund committee stages a one night performance of "Drumbeats and Song" at Symphony Hall.

The girls, 12 in all, will be featured with Harvard's Krocodiloes in a half-hour of songs, dancing, and mixed chorus arrangements. Cynthia Sweeney '50 will take the only Radcliffe sole part for the evening.

Songs for the "Cliff-Riff" portion of the program include "Fascinating Rhythm," "Laura," and "I've Got You Under My Skin," sung with the Krocodiloes. All songs were arranged by Anthony E. Bonner '49. Samuel V. K. Willson '50 is in charge of directing and coordinating the work of the two groups.

Since try-outs several weeks ago, the "Riffs," have been practicing every Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday evenings in the Eliot Hall game room. Krocodiloes.
