A "gaggy, sexy" French comedy will be the Dramatic Club's fall production, president Robert E. Miller '48 announced yesterday. The play is "Amphytrion 38," translated into English by S. N. Behrman.
The choice is tentative, though, for the HDC must still find an actor and actress who can fill the difficult lead roles. Alfred Lunt and Lynn Fontaine took the parts in the New York production 12 years ago.
After a year of wandering, the club will return to Sanders Theatre for the offering. Miller said that Sanders was perfect for the play, which is staged in a Greek setting.
Last spring, the Dramatic Club moved into Boston's Plymouth Theater with their production of Irwin Shaw's "The Survivors," a play about civil war veterans.
