M.D.'s Seek New Grad Courses in Psychology

Universities must train an increasing number of clinical psychologists for work in industry, government, and education, according to a report made to President Conant by a commission of twelve scholars.

The report of the group, headed by Dr. Alan Gregg '11, director for the Medical Sciences of Rockefeller Foundation, was made public today in a book entitled "The public of Psychology in an Ideal University," published by the University Press.

The chief suggestion of the Commission was that a four year graduate course in psychology, involving "practical experience" in the field, be established.
