Mater Advocata, the college literary magazine, opens its doors at 40 Bow Street this afternoon at 4:30 o'clock to introduce cinema star, Elizabeth Taylor to the Freshman class.

Her ingenuous band is ostensibly at the helm of the first postwar issue of the Advocate, and her presidential duties for today include a visit this morning to football practice and an interview over WHCN.

U. T. Patrons Startled

Last night the University Theater audience of "Cynthia," Miss Taylor's latest movie, was startled by a personal appearance of the teen-age star. Those Freshmen who missed this opportunity can discuss nature with her at close quarters this afternoon by courtesy of the Advocate board.

Her press agent reports that Miss Taylor's zoo now includes two horses, three dogs, two cats, birds, and a chipmunk named "Nibbles."

Unpunchy Punch

Punch, described by the publication's officials as an "Elizabeth Taylor cocktail," and by implication non-alcoholic, will be served to all comers.

At an evening dinner Miss Taylor will again turn Mater Advocata over to President Donald B. Watt '47 as she returns to the comparative peace of Hollywood.
