One - hundred - twenty - two of Lowell House's 300 diners have cried for abrogation of the no-coat-removal ruling in the dining hall, a late count of the signatures to a petition in the foyer disclosed last night.
The proposal reads, "The undersigned men hereby formally petition the repeal of the unreasonable Lowell House summer rule that coats be worn in the dining hall on these sweltering summer days." The words "unreasonable Lowell" have been crossed out in pencil.
