At least one red letter day on the summer social calendar was assured last night when William Fuller '44 announced that plans were complete for an All-College Dance at Lowell House on Friday, August 8.
Lasting from 9 to 1 o'clock the dance will be strictly informal, Fuller, chairman of the dance committee, said Tuxedos are out and corsages are not required he added.
Although the committee had not last night signed a contract with an orchestra, Fuller stated that they were trying to get Ken Reeves, who has played at the College several times.
Tariff is $3.00
Tickets for the affair will cost $3.00 and will go on sale at the end of the week in Kirkland, Eliot, and Lowell House dining halls. Because of the limited size of the Lowell House dining hall, only 200 tickets can be sold, he said.
Plans for the dance were set at a meeting held last night at Lowell House at which representatives were present from all the Houses except Kirkland, Eliot, and Leverett.
On the committee, besides Fuller who represented Dunster are Charles Lipton '48 and Charles H. Sammond '48 representing Lowell, William Richardson '47 and Hugh Wheelright '47 from Adams, and Clifford R. Hope, Jr. '47 from Winthrop.
