In order to take advantage of the anti-scholastic sentiment which sweeps the College immediately after exams end, Alfred Pugliese '47, chairman of PBH's Library Committee, will place receptacles in all dining halls this week to catch no-longer-wanted texts for his committee's current Book Drive.
The library comes in handy when the academic urge returns at the start of each term, Pugliese reported yesterday, for undergraduates may rent a book for a term at a 25 cent charge.
At present some 750 volumes on all subjects are stored in the library's spacious quarters on the third floor of Brooks House, but Pugliese claimed that he needs at least 250 more.
'We are reorganizing our shelves," the librarian announced, "to supply books for undergraduate courses which have a heavy enrollment."
