Inrter-House Debate Council officials yesterday awarded laurels for the 1946-47 campaign to a Lowell House team, whose records of two wins and no defeats won the year's trophy although hard-pressed by the second-place Winthrop House arguers.

Scheduled to expand its field of operations into a 16-debate program next year, the inter-House loop was set up by the Debate Council this year and since its inception has been laboring steadily to establish debating as a permanent part of inter-House activities.

All Houses Compete

Any House member, including Dudley commuters but excepting members of the Debate Council, is eligible to argue in the inter-House debates. Even year's top team will be awarded a plaque by the Committee.

The officers of the inter-House Committee are Peter H. Clayton '50, chairman, and John W. Susskind '46, secretary. House representatives include: Adams, John K. 'Lally '49; Eliot, Ralph Griss '49; Dudley, Laurence A. McGrath, Jr. '46; Dunster, Susskind; Kirkland, Robert E. Kohn '49; Leverett, Frederick D. Houghteling '50; Lowell, John W. McNulty '48; and Winthrop, Carles A. Arosemena '49.
