Cast and Chorus Selected as Hasty Pudding Plans Big Opening in Week

Biddle, Hughes, Hatton Assume Lead Roles in Comedy Based On Story of Myles Standish

Cast and chorus for the Hasty pudding Club's musical "Speak for Yourself" were announced yesterday as the show moved into final rehearsals for next Wednesday's opening. The plot of the comedy was inspired by the historic Myles Standish-John Alden-Priscilla Mullens Pilgrim love triangle.

The cast: David S. Biddle '49 as John Alden; J. Jay Hughes '48 as Standish; Julian B. Hatton, Jr. '48 as Priscilla; Jerome Dickinson '48 as Desire; Frederick F. Lamont, Jr. '48 as Billington; Theodore Allegretti '47 as Massassoit; Eugene A. Gruhler '46 as Whitefeather ' Charles G. Loring, Jr. '48 as Pratt; Edward M. Lamont '48 as Carver; J. Bradley Cumings 3rd '46 as Allerton; Robert L. Daley '47 as Humility complete the list.
