Victory for the Crimson in its first Pentagonal League encounter this year seems imminent tonight when the Varsity sextet challenges Army on West Point's Smith Risk. The Cadets have dropped four contests in a row.
So far belieing Johnny Chase's early season prediction that they would be tough to beat, Army has two losses to Dartmouth, one to Yale by a dismal 9 to 1 count, and one to Princeton in eight games played. They have also a loss and tie respectively to Clarkson and Hamilton to add to Coach Len Patten's headaches.
Chase plans to use the same starters who trounced Holy Cross Monday by an encouraging 10 to 4 margin. With first liners Dave Farrell, Bob Feloney, and recently elected captain Johnny Crocker developing into a powerful attacking unit, and high-scorer Wally Sears leading the second-string trio, the Chasemen should give the boys on the Hudson plenty of trouble.
