Arabs, Jews, Laborites Hit British Decision to Refer Palestine to UN; Lilienthal's Chances Still Doubtful

Bevin Plan Criticized

LONDON, February 19--Britain's decision to send the troublesome Palestine question to the United Nations, without recommendations for a solution and with no interim increase in Jewish immigration, was reported today to have run into a "stormy" session of Labor Members of Parliament.

A leading Labor Member of Parliament said that Bevin, facing critics in a Laborite caucus, blamed pressure of American Jews on the United States government for his failure to reach an agreed settlement in Palestine.
