JERUSALEM, February 10 A British military court sentenced three suspected members of lrgun Zvai Legion to the gallows today shortly after official Palestine Jewry formally rejected a British request to cooperate with the police and military in combatting terrorism.
A tense Palestine recalled that Irgun Zvai Leumi, underground group committed to active resistance against the British, had threatened reprisals "as soon as a military court condemns one of our soldiers."
Military authorities tonight said they "frankly expect" an early outbreak by the lrgunists.
All members of the court were given the most rigid security proctection from the time they left the courtroom tonight.
