Harlow coached eleven have run up a 5 to 2 record against Princeton.
Year one in the Harlow regime was 1935, and on November 9 of that year the first Harlow-trained contingent of football players ever to perform west of Jersey City trotted onto the field at Palmer Stadium in Princeton.
The cheering was all in one half of the stands tht day, for when the final whistle blew, the scoreboard read Princeton 35, Harvard 0.
That was in 1935. Since then, the ornithologist's charges have lost only one game to Princeton, a close one in 1939.
In 1936 and 1940, the two teams tied, but every other year showed the Crimson on the long end of the score. The closest of all the Harvard victories was last year's, which saw a last second interception guard a 13 to 12 win for Harvard.
