Walter T. Perry '50, a veteran Sophomore who startled Radcliffe with his ledge-climbing antics just after midnight Tuesday, has been ordered to re-appear in the East Cambridge district court at 9 o'clock this morning after pleading not guilty yesterday to charges of drunkenness and disturbing the peace.

Cabot Hall residents discovered Perry threading his way along a third-floor ledge at 1 o'clock yesterday morning, allegedly in an intoxicated condition. Cambridge police persuaded him to leave his perch and a crowd of about 100 girls watched him descend the adjacent fire escape, which he had apparently used to get to the ledge.

Booked by police after the escapade, Perry was brought before Judge Arthur P. Stone '93 yesterday morning where he pleaded innocent to two charges and was released on bail to the probation officer. His case will be continued at the regular court session this morning.

Police lines quickly tightened around Annev buildings after the "incident" to curb further disturbances. An hour later the law was reported to have flushed another undergraduate hurling rocks at a Whitman Hall upper window.
