Edric A. Weld '46, head of the Council's as yet unfilled Constitution Committee, last night accepted the Wednesday proposal of the Summer Revision Committee to meet with the Council and determine whether or not three existed sufficient ground to justify continued discussions.
He said he hoped the joint meeting with Raymond J. Considine's revisionist group could be held early next week and expressed the hope the conclave would be successful. I can find no essential difference in the positions of the two groups, nor grounds for any sort of dispute," he added.
Letters to Major Activities
Meanwhile, Weld stated that letters asking the heads of the four major under-graduate activities--PBH, AVC, the HLU, and the CRIMSON--to name representatives to the Council's Constitution Committee had been delivered, but that no replies had thus far been received. He said he had no official indication as to who would eventually be a part of his committee.
It was felt that some activities heads were delaying their choices pending the outcome of next week's joint meeting for the reason that in several cases the probable nominee is also a member of the Considine committee.
PBH president Ray A. Goldberg '48 stated, however, that he was planning to call a meeting today for the purpose of selecting a delegate.
