Stickmen Elect Wood, Dewey; Play Indians

Hoping to draw inspiration from their newly elected co-captains, George Wood and Ned Dewey, the Varsity lacrosse team entrained for Hanover yesterday to try today for their second win of the season against a strong, experienced Dartmouth ten.

Both new captains are NROTC members and both play the midfield. Dewey, regular Varsity football guard last fall, was on last summer's informal squad while Wood has played on the team for two seasons.

With three of the regular starters out of action, Coach Bob Maddux is pinning his hopes on recently developed scoring plays which he hopes will put some life into the impotent Crimson offense. The big problem for the defense will be to stop Dartmouth's real Indian attackman who has been playing the game for ten years.
