Drawing from a previously disclaimed source which gave credence to a current misimpression, Thursday's CRIMSON erroneously quoted arbitrary, purely scholastic standards as requisite for election to the Phi Beta Kappa Society.
In a letter yesterday, the PRK secretary emphasised that "particular courses taken, range of interests, leadership qualities, and honors awards are often given important consideration. The Society's membership differs markedly from a list of students arranged in order of grades."
