MARGARITA ADDED TO GRIDIRON STAFF

Former Bruin Backfield Ace To Aid Harlow in '46 Season

A former thorn in the side of Dick Harlow has just been added to the Crimson football coaching staff; Bill Bingham, director of Athletics, announced this morning the appointment of Henry R. "Hank" Margarita as assistant football coach.

One of the greatest running halfbacks in recent New England history, Margarita starred for Brown University in 1941 and 1942, and sparked the Bruins to two near victories against the powerful Crimson pre-war squads. After leaving Brown, he played for two seasons with the Chicago Bears.

Coached Wayland Team

Formerly a schoolboy star at Medford, Margarita comes to Harlow's staff from his coaching job at Wayland High School. His appointment brings the coaching staff up to its full strength, with Henry Lamar, Lyal Clark, Al McCoy, and Floyd Stahl rounding out the roster.

Margarita will begin his service as soon as weather permits the commencement of spring football practice, which will be held for the first time since 1942.
