As the Crimson's contribution to the N.C.A.A. swimming meet Friday and Saturday at Yale's Payne Whitney pool, Chuck Hoelzer and Ted Norris, both Freshmen, will be entered in what Coach Hal Ulen calls "a tough assignment, but worth the inspiration and experience."
The two men have been selected for their outstanding work on the team during the past season. Hoelzer, who broke the Freshman breaststroke record in the St. George's meet, will try for the laurels in the breaststroke while Norris is entered in the 1500-meter grind, and might possibly also swim the quarter-mile.
The Buckeyes of Ohio State are favored to win the meet; they have been working out in the Eli's pool for the past week.
