PBH Will Play Santa Tuesday for Children Of Nearby Settlements

Nineteen settlement house children from Cambridge will have a little brighter view of the Christmas season when they leave Phillips Brooks House at 6 o'clock next Tuesday afternoon.

The children, whose ages range from 6 to 14, will be guests of PBH at a two-hour Christmas Party session of cake, ice cream, candy and entertainment. And each will go home with a new toy or game and a new piece of clothing to add to his winter wardrobe.

While the children are filling their stomachs, the PBH entertainment committee has planned for a student magician to pull rabbits from a hat and generally keep the youngsters bewildered.

But the climax of the party, for any six-year-old anyway, will be the arrival of Santa Claus whose flight from the North Pole, according to PBH officials, has been specially arranged with the U. N. Security Council and all the Christmas-spirited nations involved.
