Third-Party Question Debated By HLU, HCL Heads on WHCN

Speaking at the first in a series of Network forums last night, Richard L. Wattling '49, president of the Conservative League, and Charles Sellers '45, president of the HLU, agreed that the formation of a Labor Party in this country would not now be advantageous.

While Wattling warned of the dangers arising should labor throw itself consistently behind one of the two major parties, Sellers asked that the Democratic party become in effect, the National labor party and demanded "enlightened leadership."
