The sun-bathing rules as presented by Judicial Board and voted on by House of Representatives are as follows:
1. Students may not take off their shoes anywhere on campus; It is allowed only at Alumnae and Scott Gymnasiums.
2. The maximum length above the knee that shorts may be worn without a cost in two inches.
3. Students may not tie their shirts above their waists.
4. Students are expected to sit up everywhere while sun-bathing except on the gym roofs and on the banks of Paradise. --Smith College Associate News.
