At its final meeting of the summer term, the Harvard Liberal Union elected two new officers for its winter activities. After re-electing Irwin Loff '47 as treasurer and George S. Koch '47 as Secretary, the HLU proceeded to elevate Edgar M. Rubin '47, former vice-president, to the presidency, and Philip H. Smith, Jr. '47, former chairman of the membership committee, to the vice-presidency.
