Eagles will have to rely solely upon under-age civilians and men honorably discharged from the service for their eleven this season. Actually, the visitor's starting lineup will contain eight freshmen, in contrast to the two who are listed for the Crimson.
Only two of the B.C. starters saw action last season, center George Donelan and guard Pete Baleyko, both of them hard-tackling powerhouses. Baleyko, at 205 pounds, is plenty good enough to have made the Eagle Varsity in normal times, while Donelan is a crafty veteran.
Expected to provide the offensive power for the Boston College attack is big Jim Casey, 190 pound fullback, who packs plenty of drive in his running. Tom Carney, another heavy hitter, is at right half, and holding down the other halfback spot is fleet Joe Elliott.
Moody has kept the famous pre-war Eagle T. formation in the spotlight, and it will set up most of the invaders' plays in the Stadium tomorrow. Ed Cronin is the quarterback who will make or break the system, following in the footsteps of such stars as Eddie Doherty.
